The Studio Behind the Work (and the One Who Sleeps Through It)

Some partnerships take years to find. Ours happened on the first day of work.

In January 2022, after finishing our master's degrees in architecture, we met at our first job.

Over the following years, that partnership became the foundation for something more. In 2024, we founded AM Studio in Bitola.

As a team, we naturally approach projects from different directions. Marija is drawn to atmosphere, composition, and the experience of a space. Andrea enjoys the precision of technical drawings, coordination, and the quiet satisfaction of solving complex details. Somewhere between those two perspectives, each project finds its balance.

Today, our work spans architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and urban planning. Different scales, different challenges, but always the same process: listening first, designing second.

Every project is a collaboration between different fields, ideas, and expertise. We work closely with civil engineers, electrical and mechanical engineers, consultants, contractors, and everyone involved in bringing a project from concept to reality. Our goal is to create complete, coordinated projects that are not only visually considered, but also carefully prepared for the moment they become a real space.

Thoughtful documentation and open conversations makes architecture easier to navigate. The clearer and more detailed a project is, the fewer surprises, delays, and headaches everyone has later.

Two years in, we're still learning, still improving, and still genuinely excited every time a new project lands on our desks.

This website marks the beginning of another chapter. A place to share our work, our process, and the ideas that shape them.

And if you happen to notice the same cat appearing somewhere in the background of nearly every office photo, that's our unofficial third team member. She's always around to supervise the studio—usually by sleeping through deadlines, client meetings, and just about everything else.
